Stanley Seagull ebook Review

I was recently given the opportunity to read and review the book Stanley Seagull by Cathy Mazur, illustrated by Colleen Gedrich.

It was a great book about a young seagull whose name is Stanley. He ends up wandering away from home and then trying to find his way back. On his journey he learns how humans affect the balance of nature.

I thought the book was really great. It has a very important message, and it is written in a way that children will understand and find interesting. The artwork is also really nice and colorful. I love how the entire pages are artwork, and the text is over it. The book is very to the point, and a great length for children.

To get more info about Stanley Seagull you can check out the website, and you can go to the Facebook page!

Stanley Seagull was published by Tribute Books, you can visit their website, their Facebook page, and follow them on Twitter! You can also visit the Blog Tour Facebook page.

WINNERS ANNOUNCED! - The Peaceful Housewife's Natural Household Cleaners e-book Review and Giveaway

I was selected to review this e-book from a promotion.

The book The Peaceful Housewife's Natural Household Cleaners, was written by The Peaceful Housewife herself, Jenny Deramo. She runs The Peaceful Housewife blog “Your natural-parenting, money-saving, joyful-homemaking blog” which you can visit at this link:

The book includes recipes for a variety of items:
·         Many Different Laundry Products
·         Dishwasher Detergent
·         Wet Mop Refills
·         Diaper Pail Freshener
·         Furniture Polish
·         Pest Sprays
·         Oven Cleaner

The book has super easy instructions using simple ingredients, many of which you most likely already have in your home. They are an awesome alternative to store bought products that have tons of chemicals in them and smell horrible. I haven’t done a cost comparison, but just by reading the ingredients it seems that these recipes are much cheaper than the store bought products as well.

I can’t wait to use these recipes in my home. I really hate using products that contain chemicals. I am actually excited to clean now that I know the products I’m using won’t smell terrible and are environmentally friendly. I have been attempting to switch to more natural items throughout my home and this book will really help me achieve that goal.

To purchase this ebook at an awesome low price, visit this link that will take you directly where you need to go: (

Great news, I’m giving away 2 copies of the ebook!! When the winners are selected, I will e-mail them the PDF of the book.
