I was lucky enough to review a pair of glasses from Just Eyewear.
I have been wearing glasses with a strong prescription for over 15 years now, and therefore have quite a bit of experience when it comes to picking and wearing them.
Picking out the frames I wanted, choosing my lenses, and entering my prescription information was actually pretty easy.
There are a LOT of frames to choose from, and they make it super easy by letting you choose options including frame shape, size, material and color.
When I got the glasses I was excited to see they came in a nice hard case with a cleaning cloth and tightening tool.
I can say I do love the glasses. I like the frames I chose, and I'm VERY happy with how thin the lenses I chose are. I picked the "middle of the road" lenses, and I'm really surprised by how thin they are. I have a very strong prescription (-6.75) and my lenses from my regular doctor were always very thick.
Now I'd like to mention how the glasses "work." I like the fit and style, but the actual lenses pose a slight problem for me. I DO NOT know if this is because of an incorrect number from the prescription or not, so I can't say for sure it's anyone's fault. But, it feels like I'm almost looking through a fishbowl when I wear them. Sort of a distorted, rounded kind of vision. As I mentioned I am experienced in wearing and getting used to glasses, and these just feel a bit too "off."
Overall I am very happy with JustEyewear.com and would recommend them.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
