Zevia Soda Review and Giveaway

 

Zevia is a soda that is made without sugar. Sounds crazy, right? Well it's not crazy, turns out it's awesome. Instead of sugar, Zevia is sweetened with Stevia extract. 

I have to say, I'm not the type of person who would normally go out and buy this type of soda. That being said, I really do love Zevia and plan to replace my regular soda with it.  

I got to try Zevia, and I'd like to tell you more about what I thought.

Normally I drink Diet Coke because I'm very close to becoming a diabetic and need to cut a lot of sugar from my diet. I also LOVE soda. I crave it all the time. So Diet Coke was my answer to that problem. Well, Zevia's Cola just kicked my regular favorite to the curb. 

I was hesitant to take the first sip, not sure what kind of flavor to expect. I finally drank some and was amazed! I handed it right to my boyfriend and told him to try it because it was awesome. I love how you can't really taste much of a difference, it really tastes like cola, and was just as satisfying to me as a Diet Coke. 

Here's the ingredients, a nice change to what you normally read:

• Carbonated Water
• Erythritol
• Carmel Color
• Tartaric Acid
• Reb A (Stevia Extract)
• Fumeric Acid
• Lime Oil
• Lemon Oil
• Natural Flavors
• Cassia Oil
• Nutmeg Oil

Zevia comes in a bunch of great flavors:

• Caffeine Free Cola - very good! 
• Cherry Cola
• Cola
• Cream Soda
• Dr. Zevia
• Ginger Ale
• Ginger Root Beer
• Grape
• Grapefruit Citrus - Surprisingly Awesome!!
• Lemon Lime Twist
• Lime Cola
• Mountain Zevia
• Orange - Big fan of this one.
• Strawberry

TIP: They good people at Zevia highly recommend you drink Zevia from the can and very cold. They say if you pour it in a glass it gets warm and flat quickly, and just doesn't taste as good.
